Q1 How I can apply for ANA CARD HONG KONG?
A1 Complete the application form and submit to Dah Sing Bank by mail or at branches with following items. (Download an application form or request to mail by webmail.)
  • Your HKID card/passport
    (For applicants who:(1)are not holders of Hong Kong Permanent ID card;or(2)declare foreign Nationality, please provide copies of HKID and valid passport/travel document)
  • Your latest residential proof
    (eg. Electricity bill or bank statement, dated within 3-month. Your permanent address proof, if permanent address is different from residential address.(P.O.Box is not accepted)
  • Income proof
If you are employed,
  • Latest bank statement/passbook showing your name, account number and salary entry.
  • Latest income tax demand note
  • Latest 1 month's payroll slip
If you are a business owner (for self-employed applicant),
  • Business Registration Certificate
  • Profit tax demand note

 

Q2 How long does it take to receive this card after I apply?
A2 Once we have received your completed form and all the required documents, your application will be processed within two to four weeks.

Q3 How can I earn mileage by using this card?
A3 Spending every HK$8 on retail transaction will earn 1 mile (Less than HK$8 is cut away). For Octopus AAVS transaction 31 miles will be awarded for each HK $250 top up transaction, and 62 miles will be awarded for each HK $500 top up transaction.

*Accumulated spending includes retail transactions and Octopus AAVS amount only. And excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to cash advance, autopay, "Happy Installment" installment amount, Cash-in Plan amount, Branch Cash-in, balance transfer amount, Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "Jet Payment" payment amount, tax payment, interest-free monthly installment amount, "Tap & Go" Top Up amount, cheque payment (if applicable), bank handling fee (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions.

 

Q4 Which bank issues the ANA CARD HONG KONG?
A4

ANA CARD HONG KONG VISA Platinum card is issued by Dah Sing Bank. This bank is one of the major Hong Kong banks; they provide both consumer and commercial financial services.

 

Q5 Even if I am a housewife or retired, can I still apply for this card?
A5

Yes. You can apply with a photocopy of your bank statement that provides proof of your income.

 

Q6 How much is the annual fee?
A6

After the first year annual fee waiver, cardholder is required to pay the annual fee of the coming year. Annual fee of HK$1,200 for each Principal Card and HK$600 for each Supplementary Card will be charged. If the Cardholder accumulated retail spending of HK$50,000 in the past 12 months from the month required to pay annual fee, the Principal and Supplementary card annual fee will be waived.

Q1 Can I use my credit card immediately after receipt?
A1 You need to activate your credit card before first use. You can activate by telephone (2828-8168) or through Dah Sing Bank website.

 

Q2 Can I get replacement card because my card has damages or magnetic error?
A2 Bank will issue replacement card if your card cannot be used by damages or magnetic error. Please mail request form and cut credit card to Dah Sing Bank Credit Card Centre. Replacement card will be mailed to your billing address in approximately 2 weeks.

 

Q3 After canceling the card, is the annual fee refundable on a pro-rated basis for the remaining months?
A3 There is no refund of the annual fee based on Dah Sing Credit Card Cardholder Agreement.

 

Q4 How can I use the cash advance service?
A4 You can use ATM machines of any bank that is a member of JETCO, or an ATM machine displaying the VISA logo, with your 6-PIN number. Your PIN number will be sent to you within 10 days after your card is activated. Cash advance service is also available at the teller's window by showing your ID card.

 

Q5 How much is the financial charge and interest rate for the cash advance services?
A5 3.5% of transaction amount or a minimum HK$100 will be charged for each cash advance service. Also, interest will be applied everyday from the date of your cash advance.

 

Q6 How can I increase my credit limit?
A6 Six months after opening your account, you can apply to increase credit limit
Please fax or mail request form and latest income proof to Dah Sing Bank Credit Card Centre.

 

Q7 How do I apply for auto payment?
A7 Use the auto payment application form that was enclosed with your credit card; or email/contact the service center. Fill the form out, and bring it to your designated bank. It takes about 6 weeks to process, therefore make sure that you make payments manually until your application has been processed.

 

Q8 If I see an item on my statement that I do not remember purchasing, what should I do?
A8 Please contact service center if you see an item that you do not remember purchasing because you may be able to claim for dispute transaction if it is within 60 days since transaction date.

 




Q1 If the card is lost or stolen, what should I do?
A1 Please contact to Lost Hotline (2828-8188) as soon as possible after card is lost or stolen.

 



Q1 How do I use my online account (e-Banking)?
A1 To use your online account(e-Banking), applicable to customers with new or re-issued Phone Banking PIN and who first-time login to e-banking Service, please click "Register Now".

 

Q2 What kind of services is available with online account?
A2 You are able to check current balance, available credit, usage status, payment procedures and view past statements.

 

Q3 What I should do if I lost my password for online account?
A3 If you visit any Dah Sing Bank branches with your credit card and HK ID card, you can get new password.

 



=Important notice for mileage reward=
  • Please refer "Mileage Scheme Term and Conditions" for more details.
  • If there are 2 or more delinquent records in the past 12 consecutive months, mileage reward will be suspended until the payment resume to normal.
  • If refund occurred due to cancel transaction, accumulated mileage for that transaction will be offset with future accumulated mileage.
Q1 I heard that I can earn 5,000 bonus miles for a limited time. How does this work?
A1 After you successfully apply the Card and fulfill the accumulated spending of HK$5,000 within the first 3 months from card issuance, you will earn 5,000 Welcome Bonus Miles. The miles will be credited into your ANA Mileage Club account.
(* 5,000 Welcome Bonus Miles is only applicable to new Principal Card applicant (i.e. not holding (a) any Principal Card or Supplementary Card of any card type issued by Dah Sing Bank in the past 12 months and (b) any principal ANA Card HK Visa Platinum in the past 7 years) who successfully applied for Dah Sing ANA Card HK Visa Platinum within the Promotion Period. Each Principal Card applicant can only apply for one Dah Sing ANA HK Card Visa Platinum and is entitled to the Welcome Bonus Offer once only. )

 

Q2 Any limit to how much mileage one can accumulate?
A2 There is no upper limit for earning miles

 

Q3 When will it reflect on the mileage account?
A3 Mileage will be reflected at the end of the following month from the closing date on the statement. Shopping miles will be reflected on the principal cardholder's ANA Mileage Club account. For example, if the closing date is March 3rd, the shopping miles will be reflected on the account at the end of April.

 

Q4 How my supplementary card's mile will be accumulated?
A4 Mile for supplementary cardholder's spending will be accumulated to principal cardholder's ANA Mileage Club account.
